You will head out to Kandt house museum. Also known as the Museum of natural history, this is the house where Dr. Richard Kandt who was the first colonial resident of Rwanda stayed. It has a lot of history and tells about Kigali and Rwanda in general.
Next will be a short hike on Kigali hill which offers stunning views of the entire city plus the rest of the countryside. Thereafter visit the Presidential museum where two of the former presidents of Rwanda resided. This tour will give you insightful information about the political history of the country.
You will then head to Kigali Genocide memorial site, a major site for commemorating the lives of people who died in the 1994 Rwanda genocide.
